Dinner out...strange
Dinner out...strange
Well hubby and I went out for dinner to celebrate our anniversary, and although I wasn't tempted to drink, I found I couldn't keep my hands still! It was do weird....I kept moving my water, straightening the silverware etc.
I guess in the past my hand probably never left my wine glass, as I mentally judged if I could finish glass #1 before the entree came so I could quickly order a second glass when the server brought the meals. Of course then making sure I finished glass#2 before dinner plates were cleared so I could order a "dessert" cocktail.
I know my husband noticed my fidgety hands, but didn't say anything. We had a great dinner besides:-)

I make sure to order something to drink, like a club soda with lime. I have nervous hands too and need something to hold and fiddle with. I find it doesn't matter so much anymore what is in the glass, so long as I have a glass of something to occupy my hands.
Happy Anniversary, sounds like good news.
I noticed this in myself. I'm going to start noticing what non-drinkers do with their hands. I'm assuming this is behavioral so I can start doing whatever it is they do with their hands. The rest is in my head I presume.
