One week today!

This is the best I've done since 2011. I couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'm up before noon on a Sunday. I'm not hungover. I've lost two pounds. I've been going for daily walks, reading, and doing puzzles. I've been able to buy a few things that I've been wanting with the money I would have blown on beer. The physical withdrawals are gone. The psychological battle is still on, but I'm stronger than ever before. Once again, thank you.

Love reading these posts! After a few months of back and forth I'm again on my way to hitting a week too and these kind of post really help stay focused.

Way to go! I've tried and really meant it (quitting all drink) probably 3 times. On day 26 this time it is definitely easier than the first week. My raging voice has subsided, but has become a little sneakier and more subtle. We can do this. I hope what you've done so far is some kind of breakthrough. All the best and Happy Sunday!
