Where I'm at..

I recently hit a new bottom.

I was in rehab and had 43 days clean, I had everything going for me yet I AWOL and went and stole my drug of choice and tried to kill myself via overdose.. I went into the woods and was by myself in the woods all night hallucinating and fading in and out of consciousness and I sh*t my pants, I woke up the next day in the woods, found my way back to the rehab and they sent me back to the hospital.

I'm back home now with 2 days clean.. Honestly my strongest source of recovery is Narcotics Anonymous, and that wasn't available to me at the rehab. The deal is with me and my parents, is that I'm going to at least 1 meeting every single day, call my sponsor every day, and do step work.. I've cut off ALL of my old friends and I'm also moving. If I slip up even once, I'm going to a 28 day inpatient far away..

I'm taking this one day at at time.. Just for today, I will stay clean through NA, my sponsor, the 12 steps, and Sober Recovery.
