I'm thinking of you this morning. It's hell mate but we understand, I promise you that. It's not easy and it's a long climb back but you can do it. Use all your strength and refuse to accept that this is the man you are supposed to be. Absolutely refuse to accept that with every fibre of your being.

Reaching out is hard and quite often the reaction you'll get is not always a warm embrace with people telling you everything is going to be alright. But if you can believe in yourself that this is what you desperately want then no one but no one will be able to stop that from happening.

Be strong mate; get up and prove your worth to yourself.

You were the one that helped me. You were the one that started the March thread that for whatever reason gave me the courage to even try. It was you.
There are so many people here who care about you. I will never give up on you and neither will they.
Are you considering rehab? I was where you are. Please don't give up and let people where you live help you.

We aren't going anywhere.

You must be feeling overwhelmed right now -- is there someone you can call to help you? Find a meeting and ask for help there? Just encouraging you to baby-step your way back toward sobriety. We are welcoming you back with open arms, and other great things are waiting for you on the sober side, my friend.

As duffster said, don't give up, because we are not giving up on you!

Jimjim, Yes, I am struggling terribly with reality! But I'm going to keep on Marching soberly. I have been told by many wise folk here that it is going to get better, so I'm going to have faith that it will. Some days I just get through, waiting for it to be over, to go to bed, so that maybe just maybe tomorrow will be a little better. I am in pain, too, as you are. Keep the faith with me, stick with it another day. I will too.

Jimjim, it is time sweetie, reach out, get help now, go knock on doors, sit I. Your gps waiting room. Do whatever it takes to get the help you need to break this cycle and come back to us. All these people posting today;they are saying I believe in you, I care about you, I want to help you. Be as kind to yourself my friend, and give yourself a chance.
