Hi
hi every body great to finally find somewhere i can read and post about thoughts and goings on etc
living with an active addict is really like being on a never ending a merry go round
i guess i want someone to tell me to hang in there it will get better soon ....... but inside i know its not

I'm sorry for your situation - I agree things aren't likely to change until one or both of you decides to institute change.
Obviously those kinds of decisions are hard to make, but there's a ton of support here.
You're not alone
I hope you'll also check out our Family and Friends forum. There's a lot of support there too

Hi there! Welcome to SR! Have you checked out our friends and family section? You stated that you are living with an active addict? Have you looked into any help for yourself in dealing with an addict?

HI
so haven't been on in a week and lots of replies will be going over to check out the family and friends section now thank you Dee and i love your little quote by the way 
mizzuno wasnt really sure where to start i have rung drug arm and at that stage all i got was you should leave him it wont get any better i have to think of me and the kids etc and i tried to talk to a counsellor with my partner but he spent most of the time lying through his teeth to the point the counsellor told me i was the one with the problem ??
i suppose when i finally found this sight i was relieved i dont want to be told what to do by someone that has no idea i just want someone to understand my vent a chuck me a few ideas ??
