Hi all

I was just wondering, in your drinking days how much was you drinking on average every day?

For me it was around 6 to 8 pints of larger and sometimes 4 or 5 double whiskey's on top!

Between 1/2 and a full bottle of wine a night. Usually skipped drinking at least one night a week.

At the end, a liter of vodka a day or more.

But if anyone's like me don't let your AV now say well I wasn't that bad, I can carry on, because I really don't know how I'm not dead.

Always was a bottle of wine a night, would only abstain when too physically sick to drink then would take a night off.. Recently escalated to bottle and a half and sometimes 2. You can see where this is going! It always escalates.. This doesn't include nights out when I lose complete control.. Enter guilt trips, checking phone for calls and texts and the " what did I say/do last night" looking forward to a life without this misery.. Hopefully will find it soon x good luck to you!

I wasn't an everyday drinker but if I drank after work on a week night I'd have a twelve pack of beer, if it was the weekend and I started drinking early enough I would drink the twelve pack and then some. It really starated to disgust me.

Glad those days are over.

When I quit I was drinking four half gallons of whiskey a week.

Lets see...for the past five years...3-4 glasses of wine on work nights and likely 2 bottles on Friday and Saturday nights. The past six months however, I was moving more to the brandy (more bang for my buck), and it would be about 1 pint of brandy a day, with a couple wines glasses for good measure.

If I kept that pace, definitely wouldn't be seeing old age!
