Officially 48 hours ..

and was smart enough to grab something to celebrate when I was getting smokes; Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy :D Doubt it will help the anxiety and such but ehh I love it :p

GroundhogDay 05-13-2013 10:47 AM

I love the name...Chocolate Therapy. I eat chocolate ice cream every night.

Hevyn 05-13-2013 10:55 AM

Ice cream therapy for me - any flavor. :) Congratulations August West on your 48 hours!

AugustWest11 05-13-2013 10:56 AM

Ohhh if you never had it you HAVE to track it down lol About 6 years ago I & my Girl went to Vermont for vacation; the Ben & Jerry's factory was on our "to do" list got the tour then saw a stand afterwards tried it and fell in Love :p Only to realize it wasn't sold in stores :| lollll Needless to say I was crushed .. Well they brought it out as a "new flavor" Last year I think :D Thanx .. Been rough and the coffee this AM and Spicy\Garlicy chicken isn't helping crush the remnant anxiety But Soon I hope :p

Hevyn 05-13-2013 11:16 AM

They only sell around 5 flavors in our area - so I'm 'forced' to stick with Cherry Garcia. :)
Would love to visit the factory one day!

AugustWest11 05-13-2013 11:19 AM

:c029: Only 5 .. That is just Wow lol I so couldn't live on only 5 :p

You are all going to get fat.
Replace those old habits with good ones.
Like eating organic and exercise.
Ahh, who am I kidding? I eat more frozen yogurt than a human being should be allowed to have. Long live chocolate!

Hevyn 05-13-2013 11:28 AM

B &J do have a frozen yogurt...hmmm - maybe we should try it. :)

AugustWest11 05-13-2013 11:31 AM

I couldn't live w\ out my chocolate; or any foods I truly love .. I just couldn't .. But I am blessed w\ a great metabolism .. I have more problems keeping weight on then gaining :p

MidnightBlue 05-13-2013 11:41 AM

Congrats August! Great job!!

Lucky you to have great metabolism - I have to watch every calorie)

Best wishes to you, keep posting.

AugustWest11 05-13-2013 11:45 AM

Thanx .. No I have been blessed so far; even on my 60days I ate and ate anything in site and still lost 3 pounds .. My original doctor was so shocked when I told her how much I ate but always lost it she tested for thyroid problems :p

Cheesecake but lots of exercise. Anyway, I'm new in sobriety. First things first. My sugar intake will be dealt with at a later date.
