Mood swings when not drinking

I forgot something from my post that I hope helps you.

I understand the mothers day feelings.
I spent my first mothers day on my own, it was hard.

But you know, it's one day. Probably made a lot bigger by all the card companies and restaurants wanting to charge a fortune.

I also used to compare myself to other people and their relationships. It does not really get you anywhere because people tend to only talk about the good bits. Never the bad bits. At least this is true in my experience.

I just want you to know I understand

Just being sad is not a mood swing. Going from elated to depressed within seconds is a mood swing. Everyone has great advice and I appreciate all of it. Today is day 2 again. I am going to now the lawn when I get home and then just cook out and relax with the kids. No chores today only fun.

Mood swings? Ha! Early on my mood went from cranky to extra cranky. Things are getting better now.
