I've been on the site for 17 days.. started day one when I decided to get my life together and quit drinking. in 2 1/2 weeks I have met many friends through the forums and chat. It is VERY helpful. Quite unbelievable when you think about total strangers that reach out and try and help other people that have experienced similar problems with alcoholism. My advice.. come here a few times a day minimum. Check in, even if you lurk. Start posting and chatting.. even better. I honestly don't think I could have gone this far..(even though it is very early in my recovery).. without this community..

well I looked through the site a lot last night... i'm surprised nobody has ever recommended it to me. So far i'm digging it. And hell if it helps me stay sober, I consider that a win. I stayed sober for about three months with no treatment, but fell off yesterday... so day one begins... again:thanks

I love how the word "we" is in that sentence! I do that, too!
