New to this... (one day on SR, 5ish months since GF => AGF)

I just started here yesterday. I have very little experience with addiction in my own life or people close to me. Just the situation with my AGF I am in now that caused me to seek help at SR. Since I have little experience and can't speak from any positioned of informed authority, I feel uncomfortable involving myself with other posters' issues. However, you guys have all been so helpful and nice to me that I want nothing more than to reach out and try to extend support to others. Is it appropriate for me to reply to other threads even if my support may be misguided or just plain wrong because I am such a newbie?

You're very welcome to post to whoever you like mdal :)

I find, no matter how new or old, generally each of us can have a way of looking at someone else's problem that we would not generally apply to ourselves anyway....

it may be something that person may not have thought of :)

By all means, do offer your support and perspective. As Dee said, it may be something the poster hadn't thought of. Glad you joined us!:)
