120 days
 

Well, 4 months - 1/4 of a year, 120 days. Seems like just yesterday I was posting about day 1, day 5, etc... Still have rough days to be certain - and the warm weather finally arriving here in Northern WI doesn't help the thoughts of an ice cold beer, but I have found other things to replace that. ( Ginger ale/ginger beer is one of my new faves ).

Thanks to all here for listening and to all those who are trying to quit, I"m here to say it does get better. Not all at once but it's DEFINITELY worth it. My best wishes to those who are sober to stay sober, as well as strength to those who are trying to quit.

I hear you about the warm weather. I whole new set of triggers to deal with, but we can do it.

I like your comment about the Ginger Beer. I have my beer fridge cleaned out and need something good in there for the summer. I don't drink much soda, but I always liked birch beer. Maybe time to find some for a treat.

eep up the good fight scott but don't let your gaurd down . I went a year sober a few years ago and thought nothing could get me to abuse alcohol again but then a real pretty girl wanted to out ...and well here I am . You can do it just stay away from triggers !
