5 Months Today

I've been absent from SR for a while but wanted to share good news, today marks 5 months of sobriety for me. While part of me wants to share this information because I'm proud, I also wanted to show other newcomers that it is possible not to drink. Not only that, I have come to love AA and my relationships and outlook on life have improved dramatically. I no longer feel constant guilt and shame and am learning to love the 'sober life'. May God bless you all!

Congratulations DFU! I am slightly over 5 months myself and I agree with you that living the sober life is a better choice! It is a great reminder that getting sober is possible!

Congrats DFU!

Coincidentally, I also have 5 months today. It certainly gets easier as time goes on.
