Anybody else find the wagon keeps getting taller? I keep a journal on Excel that is color coded. I use a green/red tracking system: Green for days I don't drink, and Red for days I drink. So far this year as of today I have 56 green days and 70 red days. I can see a definite trend: Every time I string together many consecutive Green days.....when I do fall off the Wagon the consectutive Red days always exceed the Greens....... I appears that I fall further each time I fall off the wagon....So I theorize that each time I fall........ the wagon get's taller.....:gaah |
so whats your plan to get back into the green dbskid? :) D |

I have 12 green days and 1 red. Great that you are making an honest inventory of yourself! Last night I had a strong craving to drink, there was a concert going on near my place and was just about to go when I decided to first use the tools of the AA program I am part of, I called one of the guys, talked and it helped immensely….got some really practical input, drink yogurt, water, herbal tea, talk…etc. I realized there are ways to keep them green if I am willing to advantage of them. |
The pull back to red fades after a while |
Nine hundred and something days, all green. YOU CAN DO THIS TOO!!!! And yes the withdrawals get worse, or as you put it, the wagon getting taller. So stay quit, while you still can. |
Hi. Sometimes we forget the simple things like it's the first drink that gets us drunk. Perhaps avoiding that first one works for you? BE WELL |
