how the drug steals everything

I fill that I gave myself the OK to gave my life away.

But today makes 5 days. We will see about tomorrow.
I hope the lyrics below doesn't offend anyone. My story in short form.
Believe me when I say the story happens the same way EVERY TIME.
I tried every way... ending the same..
Under the bridge downtown
Is were I drew some blood
Under the bridge downtown
I could not get enough
Under the bridge downtown
Forgot about my love
Under the bridge downtown
I gave my life away

You may have given part of your life away, but the rest is yours to claim.

Welcome!

Its day 6 and here I sit at my job.. neglected, bet you could have guest that.
Coworkers know and show it in their actions.. Not all people understand addiction. But you know 6 days little do they know of the real work going on. So they see the guy who six days ago was high and they seem to waiting for the next round. They are not wrong. But today NO next round. Praise GOD! Low on energy but determine, regardless of the self made Hell that I've created. The problems will pass, here I stay.

Addiction can turn a perfectly healthy individual into a complete mess. There are many things that one can become addicted to. The common denominator is that it can ruin your life. Whether it be gambling, drugs, or some other kind of substance abuse, your life can quickly spin out of control if you aren't careful. There are some people that are born with an addictive personality. They may try a drug one time and it can ruin their lives forever. Others experiment with all sorts of lifestyle choices and nothing seems to stick to them. When it comes to addiction, there is nothing fair about it.

Hello fellow addicts I am your disease,
I will never let you sleep or put your mind at ease,

I will always be here no matter where you go,
I am smarter than you and I am in control,

Family, friends, and loved ones they won't matter anymore,
I'll take everything you got and still want something more

I was there for you in the good times but mostly in the bad,
I've made you feel so happy but in the end you was always sad

You will lie to everyone and say that I ain't real,
but if that's the case why can't you put down that pill

I come in many forms, and shapes, and size
Then following comes denial, deceit, and lies

I will turn you from everyone that tries to take you from me
Together we will spend all eternity

I'll embrace you in my arms and I'll never set you free,
Spend our life together won't that make you happy,

Don't let those people tell you what I am all about,
Cause then you'll find a way; a way to kick me out

Well here I go now I'll just be on my way
but not for to much longer cause I still have much to say

So when you think I'm gone and you can finally be at ease,
Just remember this I will always be your disease.
