Had a wacky thought about drinking....
Yesterday after having a dream about drinking a beer with a slice of orange in it.
I went to the meeting to get it out of my head. I shared about it, called people after the meeting, prayed, read the BB, ...and..... IT WENT AWAY.
So, you get the urge to drink, don't just go off and do it. I would have blown almost 7 months right there if I had.

Way to go! Good to hear a positive way to deal with struggles. I have found it takes work to stay sober. I have to action sometimes, I can't just wish stuff away. Action maybe reading a book, reading in here, going to a meeting or calling someone. A lot of times I am scared or just lazy to take action but I am always glad I did.

I'm not sure...if I have a bad dream, I look at it, feel it, and move on. Going to a "meeting" does not obliviate the dream, or message there within. Staying sober has more to do with having a real dream and living/loving it.

Its so nice to actually have a support system that totally understands what we are talking about when these things come up & truly are concerned and want to listen to you.
