Hi MLC!

I'm sure you'll be fine, just fine--I want to wish you the best while in detox!

Aloha!

Stop worrying. Maybe start the grieving process and write a goodbye letter to your pills and whatever else you are taking.

Grieving is important.

Then maybe write a Hello letter to your new sober and clean life!

Your children need you fully present.

Scores of people have detoxes from every substance imaginable MLC. That's why you are going to a place specializing in it. It is completely safe and you will be just fine. While it may seem scary now, you need to start looking forward to your new sober life. The time is now...no more excuses.

I know

It's just Benzos are so bad. So many people say they'd rather detox from herojn 1000 times than Benzos once. And paws scares me.

Like I said before MLC - I've heard good things about the place - and really - it's your only option right now.

Going on how you have been is not an option.

I know you're a Christian - have a little faith, ok? :)

No one said it would be easy. And all those who said it was bad made it through just fine, otherwise they wouldn't have been here to tell you about it. You will be under the care of professionals who's sole job is to make you as comfortable as possible, and they do this for a living. There is no safer, better place you could possibly be than where you are going.

Get out of thinking right now.

Start action. Action changes our feelings and thought patterns.

Write those two letters.
Goodbye and Hello. That little bit of action will help you more than thinking about what isn't here yet.

I wish you well on your sober journey!

Hugs,
~SB
