Today has bn such an emotional day..my ups were way to far up cuz the downs are making me cry...although I know the process but honestly it is hard...its hard not to run to the bottle to numb the pain but I know all to well what's at the bottom of the bottle emptiness...so as the forest clears in my head and I continue to write down my feelings I realize they are just feelings they can't hurt me as long as I expose them...thank you God for another day sober...:thanks

Hi cutie. You are right - there's only emptiness at the bottom of the bottle. Those first days are very rough, but things will get easier and better. I'm glad you're posting and sharing your feelings. Life will be good again.
