I hate driving

I just went for a wonderful bike ride through nature onto a breathtakingly spectacular mountaintop....exhilarating.
After driving home, I feel like ripping my own face off or someone else's.
No, I am not a violent person, just describing how miserable I am on day 7.

Gmanriley, you've survived the first week, so cheer up!

I once spent five (!) hours in a traffic jam on my way from work to home. Somehow managed not to kill anybody though was about to fall asleep a couple of times.

Take care.

I don't own a car. (Indirectly related to drinking--procrastination at it's finest and I didn't make a call to get full insurance before that accident where the lady turned and, well, no car and a huge medical bill later....)

Maybe, even though you hate life right now, know how grateful you are to have a car and to be able to complain about traffic?!

Ha if the only thing you have to worry about is ripping someones face off when you're on day 7 then you're doing well. I enjoy driving but I find it stressfull if I am commuting or going on long journeys. I much prefer going by motorbike. Keep on keeping on.

Yeah... It gets better, try to be patient. I feel really edgy and irritable on day four here. I try to remember how great I felt beginning on Month Two when I abstained for about a year. I usually like driving in light traffic, but as I feel a little on edge stuff that usually doesn't get to me feels like a freight train at times. Again, just know It get much much better.

Thanks ev1,
I appreciate your thoughts.
It kinda comes in waves, this anger monster that pops in from time to time.
I don't like being angry at all.
