New Guy

Today is my third day of being sober. I am looking very forward to getting to know and talk with some of you as i go down this very long and sometimes hard road to being sober. So thanks for reading and I hope to hear from some of you.

Welcome to SR. Hard road, yes. But not as long as you think. Commit to quitting, then form a recovery plan to address the hurdles you will face and help you deal with a life without alcohol.

Welcome... One day ahead of you. This is a great place to hang out when we would be, ummmm, otherwise occupied.

Hi Tigers! 3 days sober is wonderful - I know how hard those early days are. Things will keep getting better.

Good for you!

I stopped drinking last Tuesday and went through horrible withdrawals... I am feeling much better but still can't sleep at night.

Being tired isn't as bad as being hungover but I really wish I could sleep like everyone else.

I think for me the hardest thing other than stopping drinking Is stop associating with the people i've known for years, but it's the best way to avoid backsliding.
