At day 10, my skin is super dry, flaking on my face like you wouldn't believe! I haven't had any acne breakouts though.

Tons of thirst, so drinking more water/juice.

It's funny, even though I could drink a vat of wine, haha, through the evening, I never had to get up in the night to pee. Now that I'm not drinking, I have to get up every night! I so don't want to get out of my cosy bed, but I have to!
What is with that? It doesn't make sense, unless the wine was really dehydrating me.

GracieLou, perhaps you might try "grazing" on food through the day, you know, just a handful of nuts, piece of cheese, that kind of thing, it might be better than going a long time without eating, and might be easier to handle even if you're not particularly hungry. Better to keep the energy stores up.

...eyes, a lady I work with said that every organ when detoxing will show on a different spot on your face, this is where the liver shows. I also had TERRIBLE body Oder for 2-3 months... Another awesome sign of detox. Luckily I work in a natural foods store and everyone just thought I was a dirty hippy

I'm glad there is a thread for this kind of stuff. I would consider myself mildly superficial and I care about how I look. Not to the point of its more important than other things but still...I care.

I have hit the stage of people noticing how healthy looking I am. I never had great skin but honestly, after a couple of months...it's never looked better. I've even had strangers say something. Wow! at 54, I'll take it wherever I can get it.

It probably helps that I'm not too drunk to wash my face at night and in the morning for the most part, I goop up my skin with good products and use a really good motorized face washing apparatus that shall not be named here. I can afford all the good stuff now that I don't drink. And I don't even have a job! If I could find money to drink I can find money to care about myself.

My face has been a disaster for a few months. I normally just have issues around my period but recently it has been 24/7. All those toxins are trying to escape some how!

I am vain! Do you have a skin care regime? It sounds like you have combination skin.
