Another Drunk Dream

Had a dream last night where I had to go down to a bar to pick something up for a friend... long story short, I was handed an airplane shot of some kind of awful-tasting liquor and downed it. Immediately felt awful and guilty, trying to justify that it was a mistake, not a relapse... not a good feeling. I was very relieved when I woke up.

I don't go to nearly enough AA meetings because I'm lazy, I think it's time to get my butt in there.

What does "an airplane shot" mean?

Yeah...those dreams are bad. Glad you could wake up and have it be just that.

I had these kind of dreams for months after I quit smoking. not good feeling at all. I'm not looking forward to that with liquor.

An airplane shot is one of those little mini plastic bottles of alcohol they sell at liquor stores or give you on airplanes.

Firepool - I gave up drinking and started smoking way more -________________- FAIL lol

I don't have drunk dreams but I do wake up sure I'm hungover - it's takes me only 30 seconds to realise I'm not but its a very bizarre feeling !..

isinganyway, don't let that discourage you. I think you'll find if/when you quit smoking, in some ways it's easier than this. I found the cravings more powerful, but after a few months, you never think about it again and you're certainly not tempted by the presence or offer of tobacco.
