Grateful for 9 months - thanks
 

I like this milestone...this time. I have only made it 9 months one other time and quickly relapsed at that point back then. This time "feels" different and better but I base very little on feelings and will take nothing for granted.

Thanks to everyone that posts on here. It has been a help to me. I also feel the need to apologize. I talk/type too much and I have learned that I like myself better when I keep my mouth shut and my eyes and ears open. I have not been good at this in the past and I apologize.

It has only been 9 months for me but I am honestly learning to embrace and enjoy life again. That is a gift that I will continue to learn how to open. I am truly learning to appreciate it since I can now look back and see how it had been missing for so long.

Thanks to each of you that takes the time to read this. I hope that you are doing well as we each walk this path together.
