Well I'm now 6 days almost 7 since I had a drop of alcohol. My bp is still up A little back to drs later. My skin is a lot clearer and I am now off the Valium. Last night I was really craving a drink and felt very angry, had a row with my partner and slept in spare room. There's an aa meeting tonight and think I will go, but quite nervous. Last night I even dreamed of buying bottles of wine and going to the pub!!

My thinking is becoming clearer at times but I feel fecking miserable as sin. I think I used alcohol to fill a void in my life, I have confided in one friend who seemed surprised and didn't realize things were that bad. It's nice not being hungover though.

Gp wants to discuss anti craving drugs today, anyone any experiences of these??

I'm glad to hear you're getting through it. And, I had plenty of angry days in early recovery too. It takes a little time to get used to living life and feeling all the feelings. Try to acknowledge your feelings and then to let them go.

I didn't use anti craving drugs, but best to listen to your dr.
