Day 2 - Checking in

Day 2 and I feel fabulous!
Had trouble sleeping last night but that's normal I know. Whenever I decide to quit it is only a short time for me that my energy starts to return and I feel really good. Then I do it to myself all over again. Hopefully not this time. I'm tired of it all. Sneaking around behind my husband's back. Feeling like crap and trying to hide it. Having trouble staying focussed at work. I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK.

Thanks for listening.

Good for you! I've had so many starts and stops too. Hope this is my last time for all that as well. Glad your feeling great! Keep it up. I'm planning on it myself.

Nice work Glasscat. Do you have a different plan to make this time stick? You know that the cravings/feelings will start again soon..what can we do to help you make it over the hump this time?

Good question. Right now my plan is to get to meetings more often, and I really need to find a REAL sponsor. I have a friend from AA who has been helping me but not sure she's committed to sponsorship. Also, plan to make a habit of posting and reading here.

It really is a habitual thing. Changing bad and self destructive habits, for good wholesome ones that make us better people. It's Like learning to live again. Well done, on what you have achieved so far!!
