I'm new to the forum as well as new to sobriety. Over the last few years I've realized I can't do it alone. So I'm taking my first steps towards a better and healthier me.

a big fear is not knowing how to act in social situations without drinking. how do some of you deal with that?

Hello Young Girl Lost. You have found a wonderful site as \i did a few days ago too. You are able to receive such inspiring and encouraging replies,, and it is somewhere you are able to open up completely and not be judged. Everyone just gives good sound advice, so keep with us all.

I quit drinking socially long time ago. Since Im driving, im not drinking and nomatter what anyone sais to try to talk you into this ... its illegal.
