Day 19 for me. I'm feeling great. I still have carb cravings...ugh!
I've taken Naltrexone for most of the week, but I don't think it works for me.
It's great to see you all hanging in there right along with me!
Hang in there everybody, this is totally worth it!
Keep it up!!!

April , this is true , it is not effective for everyone, however sometimes it takes some time to be effective . It works for me very well I am very lucky! I am going to head down to a restaurant and meet with my sponsor before going to a meeting at a church . I am feeling so good and I have started to work out again also . I am very proud of you April this is not easy and especially if the trex does not work for you . there are other things that can help to as far as medicines and vitamins . how is your family view your sobriety? I hope they are supportive of you , it helps . My mother is checking up on me every few days via email and phone .
One thing that some of the non-aa recovery groups do is a cost-benefit analysis of drinking , list out all the bad stuff and then the good stuff that drinking has done for you. I have had a major cost directly related to drinking today $1400 emergency room visit that I had to pay today for a visit in Feb. yikes . also my last binge I forgot to pay my mortgage on time $100 late fee!!
take care and keep it up April !!!

Day 24 , so nice to wake up and not call in sick to work , or dread going . A friend of mine just went back out after 23 days sober. sad. Also his roommate failed after 22 days . dont be one of these guys . This will take constant vigilance to maintain sobriety !!!
I'm still here. The weekend was tough, I had strong cravings! Strange that your friends had a rough time, must be something about the three week mark that makes it so difficult.
I thought I would have this so under control by now, but like you said, it takes vigilance.
