To get more valium. She can't not give me more or ill end up in er. Tomorrow is my atods appointment. They are the ones who's refer to the detox. The gp nearly cried when I was back after 3 days. She said it should last 10

Hi MLC... so sorry you are going through all this shiz, it really sucks... I was/am a major alki that made me really ill... I stopped eating for 2 months at the end and was just living off vodka... I was skin and bones... but thought I looked OK (I was always told I was borderline anorexic) body dismorf-somthing, I don't know... but when my liver started to pack up... hospital was the only solution for me.... I had to go on a feeding tube for 3 weeks... had 6.5 litres ascites drained, stuffed with water tablets and other stuff that makes you go to the toilet alot.... well, at the time I was scared straight... had over a year and a half sober... felt great, liver has the all-clear, not even fatty... OK, I'm not going to lie, I have 'blipped' but on the whole I feel ok. Thats my shortened story... the main thing is to know that you are not alone in this... I take valium because I have anxiety, I take citalopram because I have depression, I take zopiclone because I have insomnia... but I take it as prescribed... or less because I know I have an addictive personality... I have come to terms with that... my point is, know that you are not alone and tell the truth know matter what x

I tried to OD once... thought I took loads ... probably sugar tablets and my doctor having a joke with me!

Glad you are doing this MLC, it's brave and the right thing to do. You must be in with the doc now. Let us know what happens. On a sidenote, you mentioned dropping off the kids...you aren't driving with them while this high hopefully, right?
