Day 7

Well i got over my first Saturday by keeping positive and busy. I even drove my eldest son to a party at 10 pm last night which has never happened as i would usually be drunk. I think i am finally beating the detox symptoms as i am sleeping quite well the last couple of nights. Still some sweats, itches and head aches but I can feel them slowly easing. After today i can start counting in weeks My first plan was to make 1 week and now my plan is set on 1 month I am going to the gym shortly to start the day. Then another day of keeping busy to take my mind off the demon drink. I am really positive still and are wondering if its the calm before the storm. I don't want to get complacent as i am never want to go through this detox week again as In hindsight it was really dangerous and i think i should have had medical assistance. Its great to be sober! Have a fantastic Sunday everyone.
