Thank you to all who've welcomed me here.
Okay, so I have a question: I've used crystal meth i.v. daily (except a one week break several years ago) for the last 7 years - daily!!. I never weighed my dose, just "eye-balled" each time, but those i made up for others always stated the ones i made up seemed stronger than what they normally made for themselves. I've finally made the commitment that I've done enough, is time to move forward without it, I'm not looking back but simply forward, looking to my newer life without this monkey on my back. I am now on my 19th day sober. I am still sleeping incredible periods, awake long enough to eat, and then back into a "coma." Many if my sleep sessions are easily 12 hours at a time, I notice now the patterns are becoming more like irregular sleep cycles but still lots of sleep. I keep waiting for some cloud storm of other withdrawl symptoms to hit me, nothing (yet). Have others here gone nearly 3 weeks without any symptoms except sleep/eat/sleep? I've rarely even thought about it , but given my long daily usage i expected an initial nightmare withdrawl period. I stopped drinking more than 20 years ago so not exchanging one daily substance for another; I am on a daily anti- depressant that was started long ago....any comments? Thank you so much for reading my long story here....

Welcome, and I guess you are very lucky to be feeling very little withdrawal. I hope this continues and I'm glad you found us.
