Drinking dreams?

How common are dreams of drinking in recovery? I've had a lot for some reason over the last couple of weeks, been sober since December but in the dreams I forget I don't drink, have a drink then panic like mad.
I don't want to or even get tempted through the day at all, is this a worrying sign? :gaah

You are prefectly normal. There are lots of people here who have or had them, myself included! I'm either getting it, sneaking it and acutally drinking it.

Extremely common. Basically your brain throwing a tantrum for cutting off it's reward system.

I've been getting a lot of those lately but for weed instead. Quit just 5 weeks ago and I keep waking up thinking I just smoked a joint with my friend.

Weed was really my DOC; started drinking more to try to wean off the weed. Of course that was 5 years ago. Guess the alcohol didn't help! ;)

Me too. I wake up in somewhat of a panic thinking I blew it and then realize that I am not hungover and didn't...

This comes up every couple of weeks. Yes this is very common. Just stay sober they go away in time.
