Today is day 18, and I never thought I thought Zi would make it this far. I was able after a few years of reading post here to finally quit. It is still early in recovery, but a sober life is way better. My wife and daughter are getting me back. I am so glad I did this at 34, I just wish I did it sooner. SR has been so helpful, God Bless all of you.

Congratulations walkingwithgod, 18 days is awesome, especially when you realize that it is 18 days into your new life, one that keeps getting better with continued sobriety. So, in terms of time, you are just beginning the most amazing journey of your life. Thank you for sharing it with us!
