((tunes)) - Welcome to SR!

I do want to recommend that if you want to come off the ativan (lorazepam) that you seek the help of a dr. Abrupt withdrawal can cause seizures.

As far as support, you've come to the right place! I've abused all kinds of things (including benzos), hit my bottom with crack, and am also a codependent with loved ones who are still active in addiction.

SR has helped me in every single issue. I found out that, for me, it wasn't so much what people were addicted to, as we all had similar reasons for using/drinking. I hope you find the same as you read around.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on having over a year of alcohol sobriety. If I were you I would see the Dr with regards to the lorazepam. Just think how good you will feel when you have reduced it to zero. Keep posting and sharing a message.
