A victory
 

I am so grateful to AA, this site and my HP. I am a paralegal and the attorneys I work for won a huge multi-million dollar case. I got an email later in the day telling me to please come to the conference room because the champagne was about to be popped open. I got up, went to the break room, bought a Sprite and walked in the conference room with my bubbly drink of choice. All I said was I wasn't drinking. No questions asked.



The thought never occurred to me to drink. I have no desire. The obsession Has been lifted. What a wonderful feeling. I have turned my will over to my Higher Power and life is so good.


I am six months sober tomorrow. I plan to celebrate with another Sprite.
