Shaun and Nonsensical have made great points, SG.
Beer won't make it better - it'll just make the bad stuff worse.
The best birthdays I've ever had have been my sober ones - do something nice for yourself, not self destructive.
...and Happy Birthday

No, you can't have a pass day.
Happy Birthday just the same. A great time to realize there is more to fun than beer! And you can have an awesome birthday if you are not focusing on that one darned thing you can't have.
I wanted a night out on the town for my birthday. I deserve it. It's been a heck of a heck of a year. I didn't get that night on the town. Couldn't afford it. It would have wrecked my finances and probably done some serious harm to a couple key relationships. So I understand how sucky it can be to not get what we wish for and feel like we deserve. But dang, what an awesome present I gave myself by not being stupid for my birthday!
The "pass" I suggest you give yourself for your birthday is to "pass" on doing anything that is going to lead to regret, rob you of life and give you a hangover. I'd definitely "pass" on that.

Happy Birthday and congratulations on your sobriety.
I think you know the answer to your question,no pass days if you are an Alcoholic.
It is a lovely day,I am not far away.Go enjoy the weather and stay sober.
Dont give up for the sake of a lousy drink.
