Today is day 11, and the world seems brighter

Today is day 11, and that ties my longest sober streak. I have noticed over the last few days how happy I am, and how the world just looks brighter. I am more in tune with my wife and daughter now that I am not drinking. I am loving sobriety so far, it is worth it.

Glad to see you again, WWG Matthew! Keep coming back, and do whatever works for you to maintain your sobriety. Life truly does get better and better each and every day. I work on my sobriety every day, through prayer and meditation, meetings and fellowship, reading, working my steps, listening to podcasts, etc. My quality of life is immensely better than it was in my drinking days last summer and before. This week I celebrated 8-months of continuous sobriety, which is the longest I have gone in over 32 years!
I send you great wishes to you my friend, through prayer, that you find peace and joy in your sober journey, and that your life is enriched in ways you cannot fathom at this time.

Best Regards,

Johnny

Well done WWG, for sticking with it and never quitting trying to quit.
