Hi! I'm new
Hi guys. I have registered here before a long time ago but I forgot my user name and passwork! 
Anyway I'm an alcoholic. As of today I have been sober for 6 days! This is huge deal for me because I honestly can't remember the last time I was sober for that long. I'm beginning to like it though. I just got bored with being tipsy or drunk all the time. I also discovered that I have an ulcer which is probably due to my drinking so I decided that I've had enough. I had some NASTY withdrawals this time but I kept them at bay with a couple of serepax pills for a few nights. I'm still kinda getting over it I think. Anyway I do feel a little better.
Oh and I'm 27 and from Australia.

Hi Nat - my sponsor always tells me at each anniversary that I celebrate, that if I could do that amount of time clean in a row, then I can do it again! So she would probably tell you, "terrific! if you did 6 now you know you can do twelve... just do exactly what you did for this 6 for the next 6 and you will be there!" Silly, but I always find it encouraging.
Congratulations to YOU!!!!! You have earned that. It is hard work not using when it is our basic nature to use... I am glad to meet you and looking forward to hearing from you more!

Hi Natsta....so happy you've found us...and yipppppppee on chosing sobriety. Congrats on your sober days, yepper time to stop the insanity, isn't it?

Wow, thankyou so much for all your lovely kind replies. I read and appreciate each and everyone of them.
I am now 7 days sober! 1 week! I am so proud of myself. LOL, I feel so silly sometimes.
