Life is good
I will be sober for 5 months next tuesday, I never would have thought it was possible.
Thanks to AA and the support from my family and friends, I would probably be dead by now. Drinking two 1.75 liters of Canadian Club a day was surely like cutting my wrists, only slower and more painful.
I am now asked to speak at meetings and an AA acquaintance who is celebrating 26 years in April has asked me to be her speaker at her celebration meeting. What an honor!
I am able to be here for my 84 year old blind mother who really has needed me and is so very proud of me.

AA will do that to you
I live just outside of Windsor, Ontario where CC is distilled .... one of my oldtimer AA friends (40 yrs) retired from there. That would be a hard place to work for a new AAer !!
All the best.
