A couple days sober, dragged myself to a meeting feeling pretty hopeless but not feeling like I would ever get to the point where I would get serious about my sobriety. Someone at the meeting shared the quote:

Everyone has a sobriety date, even if it's on their grave.

Just encapsulated what I was feeling strongly (and I'm sure it has been heard/posted before), but definitely struck home and was a nice kick in the pants.

This is very good. I have 142 days today. My first week was very bad! The first 2 months was very tuff. But now my new norm seems to be settling in. It get's better. Good luck to you.
