day ONE --- AGAIN!
This reminds me of the last time I relapsed. I was telling my friend who had been sober for 25 years that I screwed up and drank. Told him I had thrown up for the whole day and felt like crap. He said "good"! I'll never forget that one!

Thanks Everyone
Thanks for all the support everyone.
I am back on my feet and ready for a sober life. My daugher is home now so I have got to set some boundaries to keep myself sane and sober. Setting and keeping boundaries has always been so hard for me.
Thank again for being here for me.

Hello PreciousKitty, all I can tell you is: "Trust me, you aren't the only one! I am 56 days! Thanks to meetings and this forum!!! Took me one year to stay sober for that many days! Like you, would keep sober for a week or two, and... then... relapse! Just hang in there. You can do this!!!! Always get up. And that's exactly what you are doing. So you are exactly where you are supposed to be! You will get it! Don't let the guilt, shame... invade your self! That's another excuse your beast is using!" Wishing you the best,
Fall seven times, get up eight times!

But well done you!
Hi Kitty, life is a learning experience and when we stop learning we stop living. Good for you in recognizing the necessary changes you need to make in your life that will enable you to focus on your recovery! Change can be uncomfortable initially, but you will gain the respect of your family once you empower yourself! You can do this, Kitty, you have had successful trial starts and know what to do to make this work!
