And... I just got my job back

This is actually funny, yesterday I wrote here about losing my job, my contract wouldn't be renewed on the 30th of April. Instead of giving myself an excuse to go on a bender and ruin 1,5 year of sobriety, I wrote a desperation e-mail to the main area manager, the team coach and the planner, explaining why they should keep me. And guess what, today I got an e-mail from my team coach that after talks with the area manager they decided to overturn the decision and renew my contract for one more year. Hoooray!!!!

I didn't sign anything yet, so it's not 100% but I might actually start believing in that higher power

Great news! That's the way to do it! All the way around. You handled the challenge, the response and the solution like a pro!

That's the way it starts... prayers under your breath and "coincidences" begin to happen.

All the best.

You got to stay sober AND get the job back. That's what I call a win/win.

Oh my gosh! You absolutely have me grinning ear to ear! That is really incredible, and not a coincidence. It's as simple as when we make good choices, good things happen. We are all a testament that the opposite is certainly true. Yeah, and the big guy upstairs has everything to do with it!

Thanks for sharing. It is incredibly motivating.
