*Ring Ring* weekenders!
*RING RING*
Oh my god I look at your recipe blog and the first thing I see is a Brussels Sprouts recipe. So much hatred lmao. But I'm going to pass it along to my family who love them.
Anyway I just wanted to check in since hanging out with you all was so great last weekend. I made it through the week SOBER and I'm starting to feel really good, now that the tiredness has mostly passed. I'll be visiting a friend over Easter and there's going to be a party so we'll see how that goes. I'm sure I'm going check SR a lot!
Hope you're all going to have a great weekend! <3

Ringy ding ding.
Checking in. Have another weekend of airline flights and family time up in the northland. My grandmother (97 years old and still kicking bless her heart) finally sold the old family farm last month. My family and I are going up to move the last things out before the new owners move in. It will be melancholy I'm sure, seeing the old barn one last time, remembering my days as a kid when I got to ride on the tractor with grandpa, etc. He always kept a couple broken down old horses there and we could ride them too.
But the memories will remain. It will be a nice time to reflect, I hope to get some quiet time out in the pasture by myself and think about those happy childhood days once more.

Thanks for calling the bell everyone , it reminds me to stop take a deep breath and appreciate being alive and sober to enjoy it right now

Mecanix your affirmation has caught on, another sober weekend for us all. Looking forward to enjoying it with you all (again)
This is supposed to be a good weekend to quit drinking (based on astrology and folklore). For me, the most obvious thing is the full moon that just passed. Now is a good time to be done with it!

Hi Everyone. I don't know what I am going to do yet. No smoking No drinking. No candy. Lets see. I can still go shopping. I was thinking this morning about things I have done since I gave up the booze and bathrobe lifestyle. I have 4 new pairs of shoes, three dresses, 4 pair of jeans, a new rug for the living room, several new books. All the news coverage about the Pope and Vatican City must have inspired me. I bought a couple of books about Michelangelo. What an intense man! I wish I could paint my ceiling.

Hope you're all having a safe one.
Good on you Non for sensible merge advice. No point having "splitters" around these parts. People's Front of Sobriety....pah. Board I moderated on was vBulletin - merges quite possible.
Stay safe and clean my little Easter treats.

Can't decide if will go and see a band play this evening , it's a 500 mile round journey i like the band but i just can't get the enthusiasm together to drive all that way , especially as it is freezing cold out there and i'm all snuggly here .

4 new pair of shoes...that sentence jumped out of your post before I even read the whole thing. I've said it before and I'll say it again...there just aren't many ills that a sassy pair of peeptoe platforms can't cure.
You are beatin' those addictions up like they owe you money!! You rock!
