Day 1. Again!
So frustrating. Been drunk for a week
Walked to my local watering hole Saturday. They told me I had a unpaid tab there from a the day before. I don't even remember walking out on it. Embarrassing!
Ugh!! Going to be a long night. Prolly have no sleep and those damn night sweats again. :-(

Hang in there LEP, 6 days ago I was in the same position, now thanks to this board I'm 6 days clean and never felt better.
Just think you'll feel 100 times better tomorrow morning than you did today. Just concentrate on staying sober tonight.

Thanks Ann and panache. If/when I make it through tonite I'll be 3 days sober!
I had a rough 1st night. No sleep and sweats. Last night much better got some much needed real rest. Not just pass out sleep. :-)

Hope it's ok to "bump" this? I am about ready to make to 4 days sober. Feel much better each day. I'm not working right now so I been trying to keep myself busy. Even walked 6 miles each of the last few days!

LEP It's really nice of you to let people know where your at. Just know brother you are not alone. And you are speaking to the right people. Have you tried detox, or treatment? Have you gone to a meeting? or done the steps? Truthfully thats where you will find relief and thats in doing the steps. I mean I know I had nothing to lose and I seen it working in others, so I gave it a shot, and my life has changed so much and just continues to get better. If you need anything just know you have a family here that cares about you.
