Wow that was so cool! Newcomers really need to see that and it doesn't sound like you are sitting around feeling sorry for yourself either!Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Great job Yup. I'm new to the site and it's really encouraging to hear from people like you - you made the choice to change, and good things are already happening!

Oh, and this is most days of sobriety I've put together in 22 years NOT being in rehab.

I love you post... You said untoward.

Good luck, as they say in AA, keep coming back. And the jaw will slacken eventually to talk to the opposite sex... When it is ready to.

Congratulations!

Thank you for sharing your journey. :-) I'm on day 2 and it's nice to hear you taking action and moving forward opposed to sitting around and feeling sorry.

Keep moving forward! Hope the panel interview went well!

38 days and counting. I've seriously discovered how allsome food and sleeping is. I barely ate/slept when drinking. At this rate I'll pack on 50 lbs by this time next year. I don't care. It feels good.

Yup, I am so thankful you wrote this!! You give me the reasons to continue. I especially like that you are out of work, live in a roach hotel - I do too!

You will do this, your mindset sounds as strong as a bear trap.

PS: Your writings are not 'crap', they have meaning and I just can't help but think that someone reading it, your words could change someone's life. And that's no bull!

Take care and thanks!
