Hello
Just introducing myself.
Not much to say. I'm currently jobless and without a driver's license because of my drinking and using. I have been sober for 6 days and 22 hours. It doesn't sound like much, but it's my longest in well over a decade!
Anyway, I am optimistic about this time. Withdrawals were pretty bad, but I'm not sick anymore. I'm still not sleeping, but I feel okay, if a bit out of sorts.
I look forward to meeting you all and sticking around for a long time.

Well done for staying the course for so long. Welcome to SR. Here you'll read so much information and experience which is relevant to what you're going through. I'd certainly spend a lot of time reading the threads as I'm sure you'll discover a lot of identification. That in itself will provide you with a huge boost, and make you feel much less alone. There's always somebody on here willing to share their experience, strength and hope with others.
