My husband is attending Al Anon

Is it appropriate to ask him about the meetings? If he has found a sponsor? If I can help him in any way? Should I go with him?

Is he attending AlAnon because you drink? I'd be curious too but would not ask for too much info unless he volunteers it.

Or do you mean he's attending AA meetings?

You should not ask who was at the meeting or what was said. "Was that a good meeting?" is probably okay.

It would be okay for you to go to the meeting, if he has a drinking problem. There are couples that go to both AA and Al-Anon together.

He should tell you if he gets a sponsor, because he will be spending time alone with this person and you will probably want to know where he is going.

I would let him do his thing, he probably has a lot of things he needs to get off his chest. And he can do it there safely.
