Just checking out this site looking for more support in my journey of recovery..again
Day 1 and still feeling horrible but trying to have faith that it will get better.

Hi justanothertry. It definitely gets better. The first few days are rough for all of us, but once it's over - you never have to go back there again.

I'm glad you decided to give sobriety a chance again. You'll find many of us have the same history as you do - and we all understand what you're going through. You can do this - we're happy you found us.

Welcome just another, no shame in starting over. At least you got back up again.

Well truth is I have wanted to give up many times and have given up many times in the past. I actually don't believe in shaming anyone.

We have a deadly illness and some will not make it, but you have a real chance and you have found a great forum for support. It took courage for you to come back and believe it or not you help people like me even when you think you are not.

So welcome back!

I commend your decision to stop drinking. It's rough at first but it does get better as long as you stay sober.
