Lost my job

And im happy.
Ive got a college degree, and im a trained security officer.
However ive not been able to find a decent job ever since i started working back in 2007.

I HATE jobs like call centre stuff. Or being a mindless office drone booking in orders all day.

I always get contend, energized and just plain happy every time this happens.

Working day in day out , dreading each day, doing stuff that kills my spirit has always been a major relapse factor.

Step in recovery: im taking more time this time to find something that suits me.

This darn job caused me to relapse in smoking cigs. Couldnt cope with the stress.
Been smoking cigs for a few days now.
Bought nicotine gum today. Tomorrow a new day 1.

Way more important: i did not relapse doing drugs or alcohol.

I get confused at to whether or not "pursing your passion" is overrated and when it comes down to it, work is work. I'm still not sure whether or not its supposed to be enjoyable. Working at a mindless, annoying job with a bad boss is a recipe for disaster for me, though. My time is the most valuable thing to me but I go around in circles with this same issue as you, and end up in a job where I would rather be poor lol.

Work is still work, agreed.
I dont have some uber passion careerwise. Never had .

Just dont want to wake up half-depressed and get home half depressed.
Time to recover is too little when working fulltime.
