2 Weeks
It will be 2 weeks tomorrow. In that short time, I'm feeling so much better - physically, emotionally, and mentally. Have had a couple of times when my alcoholic mind told me that drinking was the right thing at the time. I just rode the urge and thought of how miserable I would feel the next morning, week or month (whenever I decided to stop drinking). I have also been running regularly and that helps with everything - craving, anxiety, etc.
On a lighter note, a co-worker came into work today. He is in a band and played last night for St. Patricks. He looked absolutely horriable. Red face, eyes, just terriable. Not passing judgment, just seeing my old self in him today.
