Got back from a st. patty's party.... Still sober :D

I left when people started looking tipsy. It was a calm group of friends. No one knows i'm in aa or anything, but no one even asked me if I wanted a drink. :D Someone asked if I was not drinking on purpose. I told her yes, and she said she'd noticed the past couple of parties I hadn't (and of course I used to be a big lush. I was the first one drunk)

I thought it was cool that she noticed. :)

I'm proud of myself. And I'm glad I've stayed sober through this no-job time. I'm going to work a morning shift for my old boss as a delivery driver... No drinks after work though.

Congrats, I'm right behind you. I'm 43 days sober today. It is cool when people notice. I've had a few friends say something and it's all been pretty positive.
