What is your plan for Sunday?
I realize I need a plan for the weekend days n so inset my alarm for 7 am. I'm going to drink a cup of coffee and then go for a walk as dawn is breaking. I don't take walks much. Well, I didn't but it's a new day! Then I'm going to scrub my kitchen floor and clean out the spare bedroom closet. My moms stuff is still there from the year she lived with us before going into a nursing home
Then it's bill and paperwork time. Lunch and a nap.
Got that much worked out. What are your plans? I'm looking forward to all of these things. Because I will have a clear head and the energy to do them.

It's not March 17th yet here! Tomorrow is hubby and I's 31st anniversary of our first date. And folks 56th wedding anniversary. Going to church in the morning, best part of my week and out to dinner. Home group tomorrow night if this stinkin disease doesn't talk me out of it. It will probably say, you don't need a meeting, just relax.

Here's a Kleenex, TryingHarder
My Sunday plans are: Drink coffee, read the paper, maybe church, walk the dog, maybe go fishing, cook a great meal, dig around in the garden, soak in the jacuzzi, take a nap, watch a movie......simple pleasures made better by being sober !

Thanks for the Kleenex.
I'm about ready for bed I think. It was 60 degrees here today and they're calling for 3 in he's of snow tomorrow. Typical March weather. From no coat to snow boots in one day's time.

Wake up, eat breakfast, go to church. then a meeting, probably work the an 8pm meeting...all the while sober & not havin to deal w/ stupid withdraws or hangovers! woohoo love being sober
Wake up EARLY..finish a contractors class online for my job...throw up thinking about facing my Boss on Monday about drinking at work Friday...go to church...go to a great Sunday meeting here in Athens, GA...go clean out a rental house some bad tenants trashed...throw up thinking about facing my Boss on Monday about drinking at work Friday....I made a COMMITMENT to SOBRIETY 4 months ago...I have had 2 drinking episodes in that time...I am Black & Blue & Bloody but I am SOBER, and walking upright trudging the road of COMMITTED SOBRIETY again...I'm NOT DEAD YET, so I haven't given up on myself..
Waking early with a clear mind and grateful heart. Go on a peaceful bike ride with the wife and then take my son to the local golf course and hit golf balls at the driving range. Spend the rest of the afternoon reading a good book. Grill some steaks and watch some boob tube before going to bed.
Walk the puppy, make coffee, work some, walk the puppy, check in on my SR pals, work some more until the middle daughter wakes, watch Life of Pi with the same.
Then... see what's next.
Don't drink.

Don't drink.
Sleep until I wake up (no alarm!), finish cleaning, work on organizing the mess of paperwork, read a book, maybe watch a movie, prepare for some stuff coming up this week. Oh yes, and work on my current jigsaw puzzle and take a walk to get the paper.
